Astrophytum capricorne near Saltillo, Coahuila
Saltillo, the capital of Coahuila, is a central starting point for the visit of Astrophytum capricorne habitats. The first plants already grow on the outskirts within sight of industrial plants and partially derelict factory buildings. Particularly worthwhile are trips from here east to La Rinconada and Arteaga, north in the direction of Monclova and west to the areas of La Rosa and General Cepeda.
