Astrophytum capricorne at San Lorenzo, Coahuila
San Lorenzo is a small settlement a few miles from Parras de la Fuente, when arriving from the Paila station. It is dominated by a grand estate in historical time, which still produces the famous red wine. Already Wislizenus, A. (1847) reported excited about it. It were vines, according to which one named Parras de la Fuente. That there also Astrophytum capricorne grows we know among others from Krähenbühl, F. (1968b).
