Astrophytum capricorne v. crassispinum (Möller, H.) Okumura:
Astrophytum capricorne v. crassispinum was after its first description never found again in the original habitat. Later also Viereck, W. sent plants with this name among others to Brno, but it is unclear where the material originated. Perhaps already Möller, A. collected in Mexico plants with selected flower colour for his brother in Europe. The location information is also doubtful, since they were often vague for competing reasons. About distribution, location and accompanying flora are therefore no reliable data available. Unless the Sierra de Parras is true, the data of Astrophytum senile capricorne v. can be used.
